Hemmings Motor News Great Race – Nocona Tx

Got a heads-up from Ronnie Weinzapfel that the Hemmings Motor News Great Race is doing a stop in Nocona on Sunday June 20th. Might be fun to do a day trip up there and check it out.

How about this:

Sunday – June 20th

Leave the usual QT station in Hurst on TX10 & Loop 820 at 9:30

Ride out by Weatherford and take FM920 up to Bridgeport, and 1655 thru Alvord to Forestburg and 677 to Saint Jo

Lunch at the Lazy Heart Grill

After lunch ride up to Indian Bridge and the over to the flaming prairie dog tunnel marker.

Then on to Nocona to visit the Great Race at the Horton Classic Car Museum.

The Back to DFW later that evening.
