The American Motorcyclist Association would like to introduce you to your state coordinator. Jude Schexnyder earned his AMA EAGLES certification in 2018 and was named state coordinator for AMA of Texas, a volunteer position.
The duties of a state coordinator are to serve as a liaison to the AMA; working with the AMA, AMA State Chapters members, AMA District membership and general AMA membership to recognize challenges and threats to motorcycling and the motorcycle lifestyle, disseminating information and identifying opportunities for AMA volunteers to make a difference in the motorcycling and greater community.
Of the three pillars of AMA activity—rights, riding and racing—state coordinators focus rights and non-competition recreation.
Jude is the eighth state coordinator named under the AMA State Chapters and Volunteer Network program.
In addition to his state coordinator duties, Jude is the former Texas Department of Transportation Motorcycle Safety Program manager.
