Ride Like a Pro Training – hosted by Oklahoma Highway Patrol

FreeThis is a daylong motorcycle training experience for riders on their own motorcycles. Safe operation of the motorcycle from slow speeds to moderately high speeds including proper turning techniques, obstacle avoidance, threshold braking, and u-turns. Instruction by OKHP motor officers. Water and a simple lunch will be available on-site for a small contribution. The class is limited to the first 30 to RSVP. This training is free of charge.
Participants will be required to present a valid drivers license with motorcycle classification, proof of current insurance for the motorcycle, and will be required to sign a liability release. Riders are required to wear a helmet, gloves, boots and sturdy trousers (ATGATT). Participants will receive a certificate of completion which some insurance companies will accept for discounted rates.
The reporting time to arrive at the training location is 0800. Travel time from the mid-cities area is about two hours. The exact location is on the North-East corner of the intersection of US 75 and Choctaw Road. This is a rain or shine event so wear gear appropriate for the weather.
